Football Field Cake - Tailgating

Happy College Football game day!!! I'm off to tailgate and wanted to share with you my very first decorative cake! I made the KU football field out of icing. One thing I learned, to decorate cakes, you need to have a very steady hand - which I do not have. So this is as good as it gets for me!

How I did it in photos:

I printed the Jayhawk out from the computer for the middle. I definitely don't have the steady hand for that detail in icing!

For good measure I made some KU cupcakes too!
