Navy Shorts for Angela

Project - find cute navy shorts that aren't too expensive. Navy is summer's black and navy shorts can be worn with so many things... here are some I found, all under $40.

Shoe of the Day - Fringe Sandals

Wedding Guest Dress Project

So, ever since I started this little blog-endeavor, I have had several requests to find certain things for people. Like silver shoes for a bridesmaid dress, or comfortable shoes with height, and most recently, a summer wedding guest dress (inspired by my dress post a few days ago). Perfect Mantel

For decorating ideas - I like having a focal point to draw the eye too...like my friend's perfect mantel. This fireplace mantel ties in all the colors of her room/area around it and is layered with texture and interest.
Some things I like about this setup: how the art work is propped against the wall and not hung; I like how it is slightly off centered, too; the greenery that add texture and lime into the display, the bright shot of teal in the vase, all this anchored by the white mantel and flanked by the lime curtains. So cute.

Outside Living

I want this so bad that I almost fainted. Then almost fainted again when I saw the prices... This is the perfect looking outdoor set. I feel like I could spend hours outside in these comfy and roomy looking seats. But at $899 a chair and $599 for the ottoman - oh, and the fact that we haven't found a house yet - I don't think it's happening...

So, looking at some less expensive options (for someday when I find a house)... I think this Davinci 4-Piece Chat Set looks cute and could be spiced up with some colored pillows or even by recovering the cushions. This entire set is less than one of the above chairs ($698)!

An even cheaper set, this Delahey 4-Piece Conversation Set is only $499. With this price, you'd have extra money to get some pillows and even recover the cushions to match your style and brighten the set up a bit, if you so desired.

While I am not super pumped about the color - this could still be brighted up a bit with accent pillows. This Summer Winds Conversation Patio Set comes with a lot for the money - $799 on sale!

Shoe of the Day - Fancy Flats

I normally don't like to post things over $100 (and really try for $50 and under)...but these bow flats by Ras are beautiful. They use to be $237.95, and now on sale at Endless for $101-$121 depending on the color. I also found them on Amazon for much cheaper ($57), but only in size 5 and 6, or brown. They also come in other lovely colors, like fuschia pink and teal. I want a pair!

Pretty Whitney

Whitney Port launches her clothing line. It's soft, feminine, and pretty - it's also pricey. Some of her things closely resemble p.j.'s to spend $300 on, but none-the-less, it's pretty to look at and and inspirational.
